It sounds like more research is needed if you are asking these questions, and i'm not trying to put you down it's just that research really helps your design.

if u get a SPOA done, make sure u get a traction bar,
one that goes to the top and bottem of the diff, because even with a single bar, u will be busting lots of uni joints.
Getting the SPOA done is the ezy bit,
sorting out the problems, or getting it done right in the first place, not so ezy.

Just trying to help a guy out with a good shop in melbourne, since total 4wd is closed down.
Maybe try Aus4wd Specialist in bayswater, but not sure who else you could try?

i imported the rocky road bolt on kit but ended up welding it on, if i ordered another kit id get the weld on one they have heaps better clearance. theres not much welding to be done so id just take the diffs to a engineering shop somewhere and get them to weld perches and stuff on its a very easy conversion and was well worth it. as far as the unstable on road rumours go its all b/s in my mind, it handled just as good after installing as before.
i also got the ott stage 2 high steer which is the bomb as far as high steer for zooks go.
and they didnt rip me off any bits or anything, shipping probly took 2 months.
