5" lift look

Post by majti »

Hi,

I'll probably buy 5" manell kit, I think this is 5" megalift. I have GQ 2.8TD 1991 LWB with 33x12,5x15 MT's. I was wondering how would it look. Does anyone have similar setup or seen similar setup?

NOpe, the pics dont work. Would it be like the car is on rollrerskates?

Is 5" to much for 33' tires?

Naah its perfectly fine.

It'll look extreme if you put a body lift on it.

5 inch and 33's look good. 5 inch and 2 inch body lift and 33's look Grimace..

I have a 3" lift with 33s and they fit fine. I like the low bigger tyre look compared to massive lift look

ok
this is of my patrol.. 2 inch body lift and 3 inch coils with 33 inch tyres .. same as a '5 inch' coil kit. Basically same height obviously...

Looks nothing like that now.. i went further and upgraded to larger rubber and bigger suspension since then.

Hope that helps..

Now I know you think I'm bulshitting and that the ute has 7" lift, 4" body lift and the tyres are 37" claws and 1 x 46" claw but trust me the people in the photos are all midgets :D :D

Those old Mazda 626's are not very big at all. Neither is my white GQ wagon on the right of the shot. I tell you it is 5" with 33's.
