Sounds ok since it can be done legally here in QLD. Can always pump a lot more PSI into the bastard if that aint enough power. For a
zook it should be enough.

82 hp... considering it is a 2lt thats not a big increase to our lil 1.3lt 64hp ... i suppose if you did some basic diesel mods you could squeese some extra ponies..

Again... Look into using bio-diesel.

Your little 1.3 puts out about 40hp at the wheels - I wonder how much power at the rear wheels for this thing....

it might only be 82hp compared to the zook 64hp but you have probably double or triple the amount of torque so you in affect have quite an increase in power

How much torque does a zook motor have?

(I never thought I'd say zook and torque in the same sentence!)

i have seen a LWB with a hyundai exel EFI 1.5 in it. went pretty good. these are as cheap as to buy from a wreckers and ya should be able to bolt a suzi box to it.
Is there nemore info about this conversion?!? My mum had an excel ('99 model) and it actually went really hard... They're the twin cam ones and have around 74kw.
