Have a solid axle HZJ105 that has been lifted 4inches.What amount of caster correction is required to correct the steering. The wheel aligner says about 2 degrees but thought I would ask here anyway.
Thanks Dave

100s lift question
Moderators: toaddog, Elmo, DUDELUX
degreese how much
caster bushes only do 2 degreese wich is good for a 2 inch lift it may not cover a 4 inch lift thats were u need caster plates fitted
When you want to keep standard castor, it works out to about 1.5 deg of castor correction per 1" of lift. So 6 deg for your 4" lift. For that amount, I think plates are the easiest way to go...

100s lift
Sorry should have said I have 3inch lift on front and 4 inch rear lift.
Thanks Dave
Thanks Dave
On 3" you can have teh standard diff mounts redrilled to gain about 2.5 degress - I have 3" coils on teh front of my 80 and thats all that was required. You will have either get adjsutable panhards or get your standards relocated(3-4mm front and 4mm rear) though as you will have severly altered that geometry. have a close look and you'll see.
