A mates seriously eyeing up doing a overlander eb falcon wagon.

He already has

75 series troopy with buggered body (know any for sale in perth (post up)).
Front+rear lockers
6.2 chev diesel.

Anybody know the wheelbase of a troopy and a eb falcon??

Didn't realise troopies had such a narrow track- 1420mm vs the 80/ 100 series 1600 plus mm.

For comparison early hilux (roll-lux) had 1420mm front, 1400mm rear track.

The troopies use the hilux mongrel front and rear diffs as well. That would explain the narrow track.

Falcon looks good as the dimensions are v/close.
