Dash Transplant

Post by Mudzuki »

Just wondering if the earlier sierra dahsboards can be put in the later models? Eg. Swapping from the current with square vents to one with round vents and cluster.

Cheers

Ive seen a coily dash into a widetrack but I cant see why it shouldnt go the other way as its all the same dimensions. Go the coil dash as they are very shmick and also have a tacho which can be pretty handy offroad. and also for mucking around with your carby.

Reason for the swap was the lower profile of the early dash, which would allow me to fit some bling gauges without restricting visability as much as if i use the current dash. Not sure, just very bored today. :D

For interests sake, I swapped a coily dash into my Zuk. Only difference that I remember is that a coily dash isnt set up for a fold down screen so some alloy brackets had to be made
Gone drag racing......
