Ok so I've got the NH SWB - just bought it.
It has very few klm on it and never been off road... ever!
Normaly there is 2 green lights on the dash indicating 2WD.
So I drive onto a dirt road, shift the lever to 4H and the other two lights indicating 4WD just blink.
I play around in and out of 4x4 drive up to 30klm then slow and finally the green lights lock on.
I've tried shifting in and out of 4WD and it seems to work now - they no longer flash but lock on 4x4 almost straight away.
So then I shift the lever to 4WD with the centre dif lock.
The centre diff lock flashes... - try as I might I can't get it to stay on.
The rear diff lock light won't come on either but I think I need the centre diff lock on first before it will come on.
So what am I doing wrong? - or is this thing constipated from lack of use?
Any ideas?
Thanks.

80 series Extra Cab - a work in progress.
Yeah when I first got mine it carried on just like that as I don't think it had ever been in low range in it's life.
Drop the t/case & gearbox oils and replace with some good stuff and use it. If the orange centre diff light keeps flashing it will be the detent switch on the t/case (either a dodgy connection or the switch itself).
And yes the rear difflock will only engage if the centre difflock is on although you can bridge the wiring so it will work any time.

Thanks for link, the translated English is bad but with help of the pictures its work out able.
Question, the box and the position of the box looks like the one I have made mods to , to stop the adjustable height control (suspension) from going down after 50 kph. The box and loom connections are accessible through the ash tray on the side of the left rear plastic.
Is this the same controller I wonder.
What do you reckon on that.
Thanks John.

There's an ECU for bloody everything, engine, auto, difflock, ABS, adjustable shocks, 4x4 system etc etc
