GQ cup holders

Post by CRUSHU »

bought a cupholder from nissan today. Fits in the front part of the console.
part no. 6843032J101 cost nearly $43.00
A must have, so you don't spill your Beam around bumpy corners. 2 self tappers, and it was fitted. I pulled out the 2 little squares of carpet 1st, for a better fit.

mmmm beam........yum!

Is this similar to the standard ones in the console, as for sale in this post here?

the cup holders are great....they are perfect size to fit a wetsuit style stubby cooler in.... that way if you dont have a drink you can put your money or your phone or whatever in them while you go flat out up that hill climb........

i just love em...... so hahahahahahahahaha to anyone who doesnt have them....

With an MQ center console, if u put 2 600ml choc milk cartons into the box section, u can also fit a can or stubby in there perfectly and its only going to fall over if u roll it.

Us guys with older nissans need to be a bit more inventive :p

just picked it up, $30.... cant complain with that!
Although the cup holders dont look deep (EG almost like a can could fall over), they are more than 1/3rd of the can deep.

Good work dude for finding this one.. Will help heaps with a 5 yr old in the navigators seat with me ... :)

Just rang Liverpool Nissan and the guy said the above number is wrong by one digit.

6843032J01 and costs $43.
Maitland Nissan (according to his computer) are the only ones that have one at the moment.

The $30 deal sounds like a bargain

Bogged..

Where abouts is Blackburn??
The 3 Nissan dealers in my area (Liverpool/Blacktown/Parramatta) have all quoted $40 plus and will have to import one for me.
Perhaps yours is old stock.

Thanks

www.blackburnnissan.com.au I think. they are in Blackburn Melbourne

I have been thinking it could have been old stock, on the shelf for few yrs maybe... they wouldnt be a high moving item.

I'll call them tomorrow and see what I can arrange, might see if we can get 10 of them at a better price... think they could sell easily

I made my own holder out of aluminium checker plate. It's flat and screws down under the first little flat section of carpet using the factory mounts but with longer screws and then it comes straigh up on roughly the same angle as the back of your seat. Your can fits in the rearward spot. To stop the can moving sideways, I have an empty stubby holder next to it. A perfect fit!
