what kind of driving do you do more of? is it your daily driver? if so then a arb will be alot more comfortable for you.
I have a detroit in the back of my 40 and at times especially in car parks when hot chicks are watching you pull into the car park and start clunking and sounding like ya going tto fall apart... the joy's of the detroit are that you can't forget to put it on. and ya have on demand fishtails when ya do ya burnouts instead of just spinning one wheel heh. oh oh but you do smash through your tyres onroad when autolocker too,
never tried arb although when i have the cash i am going to stick one up the front so i can still manage to steer and not have to get out after every technical track to unlock the hubs so i can steer again. just $1800 is a little more then the old detroit.

Fj40 '84, 2F. PWS, 2" extended shackles, detroit rear, soon lockrite front. huge 31" tires :( one day some big mothers!
I'm gonna put my airlocker in front and run a lockrite in the rear, only $400
for lockrite though, but at 600 I'd prob be going airlocker, convenience of choosing when you want it on, and the blue button looks so pretty in the cab
You can also do what 83Lux does, and pretend its a blow off valve and drive up and down the street turning locker on and off to impress the ladies

Try not to let your mind wander...It is too
small and fragile to be out by itself.

I have a detroit in the rear and an airlocker in the front of my rangie. The detroit works sweet with no poor handling issues and it dosen't have any excess tyre wear.
I would recommened this combo.
