Waste Oil Disposal

Post by jtraf »

Just wondering what others do with their waste oil.

I have quite a larg collection at home.. At least 30lt that I need to move on. Are there places in Victoria that take or allow you to dispose oil.

I don't mean the local padock either it must be clean.

I don't mind paying a little but not a lot.

Where do others take there waste oil?

cheers

The council tip at Werribee also takes oil for nothing i think. I think most council tips now take it for nothing rather than it being dumped somewhere or poured down the drain.

any dump (waste disposal... or reclaimation??) will do it. Might cost $20 or something. I know the one at Clayton does.

Ring up your local council and ask them. They should be able to provide details of somewhere you can take it for free.

Or have a look here at this Vic website: http://www.ecorecycle.vic.gov.au/www/de ... casid=3521
