was looking to import one, but the dollars are a killer,Between 1500 to 2000 plus what customs sting me any ways i want to bend 1.75" & 2" tube
at 180 deg angles. has any one made there own tube bender? :idea:

someone one here did about a year ago have a search. the dies need pretty advanced machining.

the press part of it doesnt look too technical, but as bru said, the dies are the tough part, perhaps you can buy the dies and make up the rest.

Were got two at work and there both made just bought the dies and one of them hooks up to the hydro press

the bender itself cost me under $700 and those jacks are dear too, i don't think they are great value but the price makes it hardly worth making. the dies are $650 and $600 from memory for the sizes you want (speedwerx)

i started making a rorty #2 bender

i've had many bits machined but too lazy to finish off project
would consider selling plans and materials
