well, lately larry has been going soft up hills, even on road. couple o days ago on the highway it was losing power and backfiring. changed the timing and it was running like a dream, even accellerating in 4th and 5th gear!!!!! but then after i started it up a day later, as soon as i would accellerate it would lose power and stall. Changed the points in it, and it went around the block very well. Thought it was fine, untill i started it again on the way to work last night and is doing the same again. please help, i need my larry.

Just a thought , If you have changed the coil Lately and have used a
e;ectronic one on a pionts ignition , they will play havoc with the pionts
and eat them on a regular basis .
