What have people done for sliders?
Was looking at some that are a angle line steel that attaches to the sills.
Do you guys run sliders that are attached to the body or mounted back to the frame?
I like the way these ones look
from here http://www.shrockworks.com/zukbars.htm But they have them bolted through the sills AND attached to the frame. I would have thought that would be a bad idea with the cab on rubber mounts that allow some movement.
How do you have your sliders attached to the sills? Bolts? Rivets? Urathane glue?

Kaos do a really strong slider. It is mounted to the frame and you cant bend these things. The only problem i can see with body mount ones are that that body is not that strong.

If it mounts to the body properly they can be very strong, the load is well spead across the area .. I fell on mine a few times and they never moved.
I did also have outriggers attatching to the chassis, but I only used one bolt on each as I wanted the mounting points to stop the sill being pushed inwards but not stop the body and chassis being able to flex independantly as they were designed

how much you want for the sliders DeWsE? I got a few dents in my floorpan and stuff when I got hooked up leaving Shane's property and now I'm paranoid about putting a more serious impression on something delicate...
If I go for the angle iron style sliders that attach to the sills, Should I try and seal up where they join with sikaflex or something? Or should I make them so the hose can get in to wash em out?
Also should I make them sit under the pinchweld seam under the sills or should I pound that up flat before fitting the protection?
My sills allready have a bit of cancer in them and whatever I do I dont want it to spread.

You can fold that weld line flat and run angled plat or checker plate along the sill. (I did this on my first zook) but I think it would have to be easily removable, when I took mine off i had no sills left.
On my second zook I just dented them but IMHO the best bet is 45'ing them, more clearance and no more rusty sills.
