I can't see any prob with it. They do have adjustment and are prob the same pump. I've had a 2.4 pump on my last 2.8 engine and they simply wound it up for the bigger engine and turbo etc

Fuel pump

Post by thebrunks »

I can email you the instructions & diagrahms on how to change the fuel volume, i've done this a few times now when I've setup turbos for mine & mates utes!

From memory you need to turn it clock wise until the smoke clears up under load.

You gonna fit this instead of getting seals in your current pump??

I just bought another sr5 2.8 (dual cab), and tonight I noticed the pump is leaking from underneath, looks like I have to pull the pump out this week & reseal, lucky I still have my 92 sr5 (xtra cab) to run around in (My wife won't part with her xr6 falcon)

yeh i was looking at it as an option cause i realy dont wont to pull the pump apart myself so it is going to cost around the 200 - 300 dollar mark if i just take the pump in. so if this pump has new seals and fits and everythign will work fine then i will do that and save myself some money.
if you coudl send us the diagram on how to do it it owuld be muchly appreciated
