Can anybody tell me the difference between the JacMac and Maxi-drive HD axles???? and why one or the other may be better.
BTW I've a Disco2 with 33's

Maxi Drive axles are (usually) 24 spline and 33% larger diameter than std 10 spline sxles (which makes them the same size as std 110 Salisbury axles (only stronger). They are machined from AMS 6418 grade steel and heat treated in Sydney???

Can't tell you about jacmac or which are better. I am happy with my MD axles/locker.

thanks for that Ben. Are the Maxi-drives pretty much bullet proof? Mine would be the 24spline 1.24"?? units I think.
