ADVICE ON EXHAUST FOR GQ MODS

Post by pete's GQ »

:( I need to know if I can mod my 4" mandrel exaust. My problem is that the exhaust diameter is to large inbetween the chasis rail and the gearbox to fit my pto, I know the turbo gets in the road of the shaft but I have solved this by having the pto drive a hydraulic pump and motor for the winch.
What i thoght I could do is put in 6" section and then flatten it to 3". Would this creat a tuned cavit and therefore create a back pressure? :?:
ANY OTHER METHOD WOULD BE WELCOMED.

THANKS.

unless you are running around 17-20psi boost and have the intercooler etc - run 3" mandrel - you will get all the power you need then!!

also not so ricey......

Also easier with the police too - you'd be loud as!!!!!
