If your vehicle says anything about your manhood, the blokes who own these trucks have mighty big cojones!
Not all performance and competition vehicles are built to go faster. Nor are they all built for street, circuits or drag strips. Some short-course performance vehicles are just built to go harder - not faster.
These are the big, hard-core 4WD trucks, specially built to compete in events like Tuff Truck 2005.
From the big block motors to their adjustable, hi-lift suspensions, these guys spend a fortune to make their vehicles competitive in the hard fought world of offroad competition events.
Come down to the Tuff Truck at the Summernats this year to check out a couple of big, V8-powered monster-trucks with all the good gear. It's the only branch of motorsport where competitors pay big bucks just to go slower. Reduction gearboxes, diff locks, you name it, they've gotta have it.
So for something completely different at The 'Nats this year check out the Tuff Truck stand in Performance Alley. You'll be excited!
Duncan Scott's and Cheezy's trucks will be on display, whilst Peter Antunac will be waving the Tuff Truck flag doing "Happy Laps". If you are there, don't forget to come up and say hello to the team on the Tuff Truck stand.
See you at Tuff Truck 2005

i'm suprised the army is getting behind a project like this. i was talking to the GMH guys that gave you the engine, and they seem impressed.
1 DAY TO GO !! Leaving tomorrow morning, got to go and load the car, then into Caaannnnberra
Yeah, its a program thats designed to highlight the technical trades offered by the Army, to show its not all bombs and stuff
When completed, the 6b will be going to most of the big car shows and possibly the V8 supercar rounds. Hopefully the car should be running by Mar / Apr.

Great to catch up with so many Outerlimits people at Summer Nats - thanks for coming up to the stand and saying hello. Nice to see the faces behind the type. Also thanks to Team Army for being such helpfull neighbours - looking forward to seeing their display again at Tuff Truck in April.
The reactions we got with the rigs from the street machine guys was a real buzz (no pun intended Buzzly). We certainly blew their little socks off - their reaction on the cruises was awesome - we got their full attention even without any girls on the back.
Did anyone see the rigs in the Super Cruise? I'd love to know the reactions from the "street" guys who were sitting around you when Peter A put his rear wheel on Duncan's rig in front of the grand stand.
The TT stand drew plenty of attention throughout the event, it was great to see.
Thanks for the invitation to TT05, hopefully the bosses agree
It was great to meet Hemmi and Amy and all the rest of the crew, although I'm sure they were laughing at me trying to spin the wheels of the Kenworth during the supercruise
All things considered it was a great four days

good to see pete down there cruisin around, i nearly fell over from laughter when he was cruising with one of the guys on the back, he tipped the truck on an angle with the hydraulics and the guy on the back nearly fell off.........i couldnt stop laughing for ages
good show guys, good to see duncans truck down there too, love the flex mate two very well prepped rigs, its just a pity cheezy wasnt there as well
A lot of the guys who just focus on cars were in awe of the tuff truck stuff. Particularly Pete's 40. There were plenty of oohs and ahhs and what F*' is that from the crowd. Can i post pics here or not? got to resize from 600kb to smaller first

I don't think okz00k has mentioned the young girl who walked up to duncans front tyre, as it was on the ramp, at about 10pm on friday night, and proceded to pull her pants down enough to really show off her g string, drape herself over the tyre, and was photographed by a couple of her friends, in all sorts of poses. pity I didn't have my camera there!!
