my speedos playing up any ideas on a fix or just replace?

Check sender on the back of the transmission, Check the connector on top of the transmission just behind the bell housing, make sure wiring is sound. Check the 3 screws that hold it to the PC Board in the instrument panel are tight--these screws also feed power and pulses from the sender.

yeah its like somthings got a hold of the needle and jilting it could be on 80 and it jilt to 85 or 70

like i were doing 60 and it read 40 so will look intop it more like you sujested

I had the same prob with one of my old patrols;you can get a new dash cluster from the wreckers prob with less K's on it for bugger all, I picked 1 up in Melb whilst there for around $75,

its not giving correct reading its not smoothly coming up or back down
it jolts
