G'day Ian, happy new year to you bloke........................
I spoke to Mark just before Xmas and he wants to approach this project a bit differently. He is going to make up a pilot set first and we will assemble that auto case for you to trial first. If everything goes good and your happy with things he will do a full production run of about 20-30 sets. Pretty much all of the 25 sets of 2.85 have now been sold so he is very happy with that.
He expects your set to be ready by the end of Feb.
I'll talk to you later about costs etc but we will assemble the case free, you will have to pay shipping and install at your end though. Mark may require you to pay for the initial set (at final sell price) but I'll discuss that with him. He may only require payment of the gears once everything is proven and he starts the production batch.
If something goes wrong and the case is trashed you will still have your spare to put back in (keep it until everything seems ok).
Cheers, Frank.
