MOGROVER one word!!!!!!!!!!!

AWESOME

Well the level has been set, can ANYONE arise to this sort of dominance!!!!!!!!!!

I am sure i am not the only person to say this but "i have never seen a more inspiring and FULL ON drive than that"

On another note!

I had a great weekend met some faces from the sight and watched some AWESOME wheeling by both SAM'S but i just had one of those %^$*^% weekends when everything went wrong, snapped axles  , blown CV'S , busted hub, My beloved TRACTION CONTROL that has never let me down finnaly did and i %$& up and flopped it!!!!!!!

Still had a blast and will be back the next time to keep that MOGROVER, aka STRANGEROVER, aka SMARTARSEROVER, aka YOUTHAMANROVER,aka CANANYONECATCHITROVER

So come on is there anyone out there that will CONQUER this ALLMIGHTY MACHINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

e-mail that photo you took of it when we were leaving.

It doesnt go any faster than 145, i tried and tried and tried. What a
sh!tbox!!

I even got a mention at the presentation for my driving, and i didnt drive an event!!

I think i am going to have to run pinion brakes and run with the hubs flipped in, those cones were just a little bit too narrow.

You have mail
The cones on this event were set up a lot better than last time atleast Balsac would have fitted through most of them.

Hey we won we can be as cocky as we like :finger:

Doesn't matter weather you win by an inch or a mile a win is still a win :finger:

But you are right we need more competitors.

Just think Sam if Dave didnt knock that last cone over with the strap you would have only been 2 points behind.

But you still wouldnt have won :finger:

Thats right RUFF but we still wouldn't of won so thems the brakes it's just good that 2 totally different cars and driving styles were so close at the end of the day.
We will be more competitve com round 2 so we will see how we go.

As i said up there Sam it was unreal to meet you guys and have some beers and talk some smack.
And it was realy good to be able to compete against you but still be able to talk to you guys and have a real good party.
Ill give you one thing you and Gonads out stayed all the other competitors on Sat night. Next time we will have to stay up there an extra day and have a real good party then go drive some other good shiat.

Its a good thing we didn't hang around for a run today if all the trucks were broke. We will have to be a bit better organised and hang around after so we can go for a social wheel. Gonads and I will be giving you guys a run for stupidity next time don't you worry.
SAM

ps. I must thank you guys and girls again for making us feel so welcome and just hope we can do the same for you guys some time.

I really do think that this was the best bit about it. That rigs that are so different can get into it and be so similar at the end of the day.

Its still got me stuffed how you managed to drive some of the obstacles so easily where I had to give mine absolute hell.

Or maybe thats just the way that I drive??

SAM I think the weight and extra gearing makes a big difference.

Plus my rig isn't as strong as yours so I have to drive with a bit of finese :finger:

Sam,

I am glad you and Dave (even though he crashed way too early) had a good time on the weekend and especially at night!!

I think it is AWESOME that two completly different RIGS can be so close at the end and the different styles used to get them there!!

It was great talking and hearing everyones views on the RIGS, TRACKS and DRIVING STYLE.

The thing i like to remember is that if everyone drove similar rigs and had similar driving style the events would get pretty tame!!

I am so PROUD of the "OUTERLIMITS" supporters that were there to chear us all on, Yes they did go a bit louder when Sam or i drove (the little amount i did :x :x :x ) but they got behind everyone that drove and created a great atmosphere!!!

I was really having my doubts about this event whether it would GO OFF or not but it was great!!

SAM K, DAVE and GONADS i am sure you will make us fell just as welcome at round 3 when we get there!!!

Once again well driven SAM and RUFF, and SAM and DAVE and all the other competitors!!!!

no i started behind them, and rapidly overtook and beat them home, nev couldnt hold speed in the traffic.... but i broke the exhaust off in my hilux, and it broke the handbrake cable off the diff :(

do you have a rover with MTRs? i was beside you in a white hilux single cab with H on the side and looking at your ride if thats it, then it was pretty nice looking dude

how come it has square front guards and rounded rear guards? that rear diff centre is big.....

but yeah, there was some units in the cruiser hey!! ;)

nev boony and bowen... good blokes, but a bit rough!

Yeah that was me, IIA ute with MTR's, square front guards and round rear (factory X-military IIA) don't know why they did it. I saw you in the lux - if you were on CH5am you would have heard me call out to the other guys "check out the exhaust on that hilux that is about to pass you"

Your shorty looked pretty awesome (for a cruiser) .

The rear centre is a Salisbury/Dana60 that I swapped in from a later model and fitted a locker to.

I wondered why the cruiser was doing crazy traffic weaving - now I realise they were trying to race you.

Which uni do you go to?
