More flex at one end.

I know the you should have generally equal amount F and R.

How bad is it to have more flex at one end and not the other. I am thinking of 3/4 rear to see how it goes but unsure on the handling without modding the front more.

Would it be ok to do the rear and worry about the front later.

Go 3/4 rear and RUF, it should be more balanced in the droop department than with front springs.

I already have the RUF but no chassis ext. same as the RRO one.

Does flex better so will look at doing back after I see Joeys beast work offroad so I know what it works like.

Cuz if u have flex in the rear and no flex in the front, when u climb, because of the weight transfer, you will have way less roll stiffnes in the rear than the front, so when the rear flexes the front lifts wheels.
Less in the rear makes it force the front.
only downside is lifting rear wheels on decent, but thats not as bad as lifting wheels under power, when climbing.

My vitara had waaaaaay more flex in the rear than front - like 14" at the shockies and even more at the wheels versus maybe 4"-6".

It does alter handling but at the low speed when you can get that much flex it's not such a big deal.

Compatible flex is a nice thing but it's pretty rare... my experiences have shown Vitaras have way more flex at the rear, GQ's have way more flex at the rear and normally Sierras get more flex front than rear.....

Flex either end has it's benefits - more flex rear for climbing and more front for descents is my bag.....

However more flex on whichever axle has the locker is king

Way more flex in the front of my crusier, but all i am going to do is take some leafs away in the rear and leave front as is.
