(beg, buy, borrow or steal).
(old style is ok and probably cheaper too).
Doesn't need to be perfect, but needs to be working.

Hey Chris, Gary Has an old style 1 liter transfer case under his house. Its said to be in good condition and looks ok. Im sure he would help you out.

That could be good, but which Gary? I not sure if I can make it fit, but it's sure worth a try....otherwise will get a bearing kit for mine. christover

hey chris did ya have any luck with a 1ltr t/case. im looking for one too so if ya have any leads that would be awsome.
1999 SQ625 Manual Grand Vitara. Lifted, Twin Locked, 31' Extremes, dual Batteries, Winch.
Lots of custom gear as I cant afford the proper stuff.

from what I can gather, you can make the early, non light, t-case fit, with a bit of work, you just can't use these cases if you want rockhopper gears or similar...they are cheaper, because less people want them...good luck, christover
