Are the diff centres interchangeable?

G'day all just wondering if the diff centres are interchangeable in a '85 drover.

with 1.3 sierra diffs...yes
front to rear...no
with 1.0 litre diffs...no
with vitara diffs..only with modifications.

the splines are different on the side gears, because rear axles are bigger.
If you need to, you can replace the side gears and the rest is the same, or use the centre you want into the other carrier..christover
