Standard height of a hilux/4runner & tyre placard tyre s

Post by cbr »

Can anyone tell me the standard height of a 1985 hilux/4runner?? I am looking for the height of the roof line. I have 66.5". Any sources on the net??

Also what size tyres did a 1985 hilux/4runner come with?? I have a gregory's manual and it states 7.00-16-8prlt, 205sr16 or 205r 16c-6pr. Did this model ever come with 31's from factory or where they tyres dealers put on???

Trying to get an idear how much over stock my 4runner is !!

Chris.

Try the RTA technical hotline (NSW) 1300 137 302 and they can fax you their vehicle standards sheet.

Two height dimensions for LN106 single cab utility (runs same std suspension as yours) :
Total height- 1755mm,
Front tyre to guard clearance- 415mm.

AAArghh yes, good point Spaz. I've got that figure writtn down for some reason- I'm thinking it's the stock wheel centre to guard measurement- that make more sense?

I just went out and measured mine- 415mm is the distance from the wheel centre to the top edge of a 35" tyre!

Should be on the inside of your door shouldn't it on a little plate?
It's not the speed that kills you... it's the sudden stop.
