2wd or 4wd is fine .. just needs to be able to be leagally registered..
I have all the running gear etc .. really just need a shell ...
( I got done on my Lux . didn't check vin when I purchased it .. )

Prefer in Vic .. up to around $700 ..

Is there any major difference between the 2wd and 4wd bodies ??? apart from the obvious like the hole for the 2wd/4wd gear lever ??

Only major diff is the guards. everything else is just suposed to bolt up.

As for the non-vin check thing how did they take that? Did they just confiscate the cab? I ask because I rang everywhere trying to check mine when I bought it. DOT said they couldnt do it. REVS said they wouldnt do it without an engine number. I asked how this was possible since I want a bare cab. To which they replied "Stiff shit, try our website or the police." The website basically gave the same response and the cops flat refused to check it. I was pretty pissed at the time cause you put a fair bit of work into these things for em to take it off ya.
