I have a custom made mount that bolts straight in. It is a bush type mount that has a bolt running through a rubber bush holding the two halves together. They come in two types, standard height and raised for lifted SWB. Unbrakable. :D

Yep, i'd be keen to see them too. I bought genuine ones after breaking aftermarket crap ones. Havn't broken them yet, and that's with 35 claws & a turbo. either that or i'm not trying hard enough.........which I'm sure I'm not.

Got aftermarket ones and like many aftermarket ones didnt fit properly.

No other problems really other than the struglle to fit.

Next time I'll do it right - unless it gets a V8 :D

Don't waste your time with aftermarket ones - go for genuine units, or modified (better) custom ones as per above.

In the mean time, give the bolts a quick quirt of WD40 now so they don't fight their way out when you get around to doing it.

You'll need a trolley jack and some 2x4 timber to prop up the motor too - jack it up from the sump, and use the timber (and a rag if you want) as a buffer so you don't dint/mark the sump with the jack.

No problems, just remember - safety first! And don't try jacking up the motor until you've unbolted the engine mounts. :D

Around the $150 mark each for nissan engine mounts.............will also pay to do gearbox mounts at the same time but I went repco for these as nissan wanted $180 each for the gearbox mounts but repco was $55 each....

Definately go genuine nissan engine mounts but gearbox mounts time will tell?????

I did go aftermarket engine mounts last year and it was a waste of time and effort as they didn't fit well to start with and failed soon after installing.....I now have a genuine set in mine...

I'll second that, except mine fitted up fine. They just didn't last, and i'm yet to replace them.

i got the engine mounts 4 $110 each, and the gear box mounts 4 $170 each, and that was from nissan. we got the engine mounts in on the weekend but it was a misson, i think we worked out ya have to do the passager side mount first, bugger.
that fixed the 'clutch shutter' but now there is a fair grone at low and high revs when driving. is that normal, cheers
