Fiberglass Bonnet for an LN65 Hilux

Post by RUFF »

Anyone know anywhere in Aus that make these? 84-88 Hilux. I know companies in the US do but would rather find one local as i need it modified a fair bit.

Can't be that hard to make a whole front end, bonnet + guards, yourself if you're really keen.

I've sorta been thinking about it, but need to fix some other shyte first.

Stumpy off this board is a GRP wizzard, he was talking about making fibreglass panels for his 4runner, so might just be the bit of encouragment he needs to make the moulds etc.... Stumpy are you listening? there could be some $$$ in those panels...

Wouldn't fibreglass smash if pervoked by a rock. 'Spose a bonnet is almost out of harms way though :D :D

I reckon if you make it pretty light it'll just bend out of the way and pop straight back out again. Maybe!
