Series 3 SWB conversion from hardtop to Ute

Anyone conquered this feat?

I believe there is a few inch difference in size of the cab. Otherwise i have to buy a new behind seat bulkhead. Is there a neat way to clean up the overhang? Otherwise i may be ridding myself of a styleside back and building a flat top tray? Anyone conquered this ? Much involved?

Please solve my dillemmas!

Done it several times with my 2a, have both a truck cab and a hardtop, converts from wagon to ute in about an hour, when I get organised and suspend the hardtop from the roof of the shed should take me even less time. There is negligible overhang, and doesn't appear to need a different rear bulkhead. What I really want is a soft top, but can't afford it at the moment!!

The rear bulkhead (metal panel behind the seats) is further forward on a SWB than on a LWB. ALL ute cabs were made to line up with a LWB bulkhead, therefore SWB utes were fitted with a small aluminium panel to bridge the gap. It is almost impossible to find these panels though, so you will have to make one yourself.
