How hard to fit Vitara EFI to a 1.3?

Post by ausyota »

How hard is it to swap 1.6 EFI gear onto a 1.3?
Have a source for some vitara bits cheap.
What do I need?

And no I dont want to swap the complete engine as my 1.3 has just been recond.
Thanks
Paul.

16 v multi point will fit if you make a adaptor...heaps of work for little gain.

as said above...single point will bolt strait on. you only need to hook up the loom.

So is it worth it?
The carby is running perfect at the moment.
Havnt driven any steep angles yet though (the zook still has 205 car tyres on it  )
Not sure whether the injection is off a 8 or 16V will have to ask. So 8V is easy. Does the manifold bolt staight on? Is there a computer and stuff to hook up?
Paul.

Has a computer and wiring to sort out. Doesn't look to hard to wire up.

YOU can get single point injection from a sierra (jap jimny)1.3 or a vitara (jap also)1.6.

they are the same in manifolds, throttle body and do bolt on tho either engine.the difference is in the ecu, loom, injector.

this is a very easy conversion and a fair power/econemy conversion.
i have this setup on my coil sierra using the 1.6.

i can give you the wiring diagram or can do it for you.

check the suziworx sale section..
