There are brake line T unions on plenty of standard trucks, just pick one up from a wrecker with the right threads for your application.
As for proportioning valves, willwood make an adjustable one (however adjustible proportioning valves are illegal for road use). Some valves (e.g. volvo) can be dismantled, adjusted and then re-assembled.

A Brake Proportioning valve is fitted standard to "all"// disc front drum rear vehicles. It is to reduce the effectivness of the Drum brakes to stop your tail passing you under braking.Drum brakes are self energising so work better than dics till hot.
If you are going disc/disc I would just pipe them up and try it,carefully!
Some vehicles have the proportioning valve as part of the M/C.
Disc's require more reservoir capacity than drums.

you dont need to chasnge the proportioning valve on your zook.
i have made my own set of rear discs on std sierra diffs, and my own set on hilux diffs under the zook.
both have performed very well for a no of years...i have had no lockups when you dont want them and no problems on the loose stuff and definently no problem on the bias side...

hey MUD4B any hints on what to look for when doing the disc conversion on a WT zook? is it as easy as it looks and can you use parts from other vehicles rather than pay the big $$$ for the propper machined parts???
also what handbrake did you use? 1ltr NT or 1.3 NT and did you have to change the handbrake cable?

i used a caliper mount from the front of a wt sierra on each side.i chopped the bottom half of the ring off, then drilled 2 new holes to suit the wt diff end.
for the disc mount i just machined the centres of the drum to form it.
used sierra std discs and calipers..
just used a 1lt t-case mounted e-brake..
