Ok we got a couple more entries.

The rigs that are competing so far are:

1. Peter Antunac (yellow wheelbarrow)
2. Cheezy(the mav)
3. Rob (rockrail)
4. Mick (mogrover)
5. Gonads (monster zuke)
6. Sam Overton (lockless)
7. Tony (budgie)
8. Adrian (jeckle)
9. Rod (tractor)
10. Boff (trevor the tugboat)
11. Beebee (hydraulic hilux)
12. Scott Henry (The Concrete Mixer)
13. Chris (roc70y)
14. Sam Keck (overkill tufftruck killing zuke)
15. Dave Kamp (hilux)
16. Linc Cliford (8IGGQ)
17. Shane Gerish (Big Red Racing GU)
18. Jamie Way (Tubed airshocked Zook)

Again entries are still open. We were hoping to run at least 20 entries but may accept more if there are more interested parties. So if you want to compete in an awsome and i belive Fun event then PM Sam or myself and get yourself a bit of the action.

If you have entered a Winch challenge before or have built a rig that you think would be capable of running a Winch challenge then come have some fun. If you are capable of running a winch challenge stage then you will almost defianatly finish all stages in one pice so dont get too worried that you wont complete the Rock Crawling stage or Allterrain as i beleive a finish in all of these stages is possible.

I know what happened last time I tried to go fast!

My cage is only my bent and mangled one that I've always had and had to twist and pull to fit around the new cab before Woodpecker.

RUFF wrote:Got a couple of tips for all entrants. Make sure your winch is operational and can pull the weight of your vehicle. Because i doubt many if any will drive every stage without using a winch. Remember there is a Winch Challenge Stage!

Also make sure your rig is not effected by Water as there is an amount of water that wont be so deap it swallows a rig but it may slow you down if water is an issue for you. I know we need to address this with our buggies. Will prob just tarp the front for this short section.

All vehicles must have anything and everything they need for Winching. We will not have any equipment you can Borrow. Winch Cable Damper,Shakles,Tree Trunk Protector,Snatch block,Gloves and decent recovery points are a must. Also remember if you need to Double line pull you will need 2 Dampers.

i don't own a proper damper, can anything be substituted?

The word is starting to get out....

Celia Barry has now entered with Eugene in their Vitara.

I think that some of these Tough Trucks are going to get their arses handed to them by all these smaller rigs ........ which is what everyone wants to see, right?

You just make sure you book into the chiropractor for monday, coz after driving your buggy for an hour or so, you won't be able to walk.

Entry fee is $150 which includes entry to the park and dinner Sat night.

We probably could handle 1 or 2 more but that would be about it.

 mmmmmm i dont know about that. Yes they will be very competitive but only because you made the tracks heaps easier. Sorry but it wont really demonstrate the massive difference between you, tony, adrian and the rest of the field.

YES i know "its only for fun" but its hard to beat the adrenalin rush of launching UP and OVER the soup bowl in a little green buggy  or doing 60kph up a rutted hill bouncing off trees in the Mogrover  but then thats FUN for us!

Yes Chris both driver and navigator will need helmets at all times while in the vehicle. Will also need to be wearing seat belts at all times(Harnesses if they are fitted to the vehicle)

I also hope all you drivers trust your navigators as well ;)

How about we start a few threads in Chit Chat for different "Convoys" and times people are heading down!

We will try and keep this thread for all the Comp news, questions and updates!

Not sure what you are asking. But the $150 entry fee gets the driver and navi into the park plus a BOTC shirt each.
