tough tracks intro weekend 15/16 jan 2005 black duck.

Post by big red »

The aim of this weekend is to show prospective competitors the type of tracks we will be running.
You can have a play on the tracks without the pressure of competing and it will also give our marshalls a chance to try out the new rules.
this weekend is just for fun and only normal park fees apply.
see you up at Black Duck 4wd park

How much is the entry fee for Black duck for the day? I had a look on the site but it seems to be aimed at the moto's. The prices refer to per rider.

The way i see it. Is that its an intro weekend for
potential members and members that haven't
competed before. So the window nets, helmets,
etc aren't required until the first round.

thats correct.

the intro weekend does not require all the safety equipment but it will be necessary by 1st round.

I'm towing the ute (carry camp gear, and sleep in the wagon) out so will be leaving Goodna at 6.00am.
Cheers

Hi All

Went out to Black Duck just for the day.

Cool place, I'd never been there before. Participated the "trial" comp in "Challenge" class and had an absolute ball!! :D :D :D

Walked that first (only for us!!) track, and then came back....the walk nearly killed me and my navvy...you guys should pick up the Heart Foundation as a sponsor, that's the hardest walk I've done in years, I think we're Team Fat and Unfit Bastards!!

We ended up managing the track OK and I'm looking forward to seeing the results achieved in our first ever comp (trial at least!!) My navvy cut out on me before the last hill.....we'll have to work on that

Thanks alot to Shane, Roly and all the others involved, it was great. Very much looking forward to March and my first real comp round!!! :) :)

Tuff Tracks

Post by Pesky Pete »

Went just for the first half the day on Saturday. Well done guys, well be back. I think you are onto a good formula here and can only help grow the sport. If all the tracks are that "Wagon Friendly" Im sure the club and comp will grow and grow. THere are a lot of guys out there in wagons that want to have a go, but dont really want to smash gutters etc.

Thanks for the weekend guys. MUST NOT HIT CONES :D . Big GQ did ya get home alright?

Did anyone get pics? I think this will even up the playing field abit.

Was the challenge class track ALOT harder than on Sunday like the Trophey class track was?
