Dozoor wrote:Ok , Been thinking about this wildcard entry thing ,
Not sure but this could suck , If there not shown on the list it would be ok , But if they pick from the list when the voting is finished it could be a real piss off for 3 entrants , You could be ahead in votes and bingo your out because they pick somone with less votes ,
So Whats the Go , Are these already picked and not showing on the list Atleast that way the entrants know where they stand in the voting ,
Or are they going to do it at the close of voting , then you need to be 30th or better in the tally to be sure you get a drive ?
i think the top 30 votes go through then there are 3 picked from the people who didnt make it

Dang I don't care if I start first last or somewhere in the middle - I just wanna get to run it....... Although I'd rather not follow 44" boggers ( or bigger) through the boghole with my baby 36"
I don,t think it matters half the time first or last , Good thing about not going first is you see potential problems with lines you may have picked,
, then somtimes you get on the track and find the guy before you has managed to move a half ton rock right in the middle of the line you thought you would take !
I thought they where droping the bog hole ?
dosnt show it where it normlly is on the map .
Tony, up till now spectators haven't been allowed at the mystery nite event. We as drivers weren't allowed to see the track either....were kept lined up far away too. It turned into a v. long nite cos Pete A's monster broke real bad early on and took ages to be recovered.
We actually only got our go at 4.45am Sat morning as the sun was about to come up!!! a very long nite for some with no sleep!...So be prepared, even with great organization, delays do happen.
But trust me you are going to have a ball, pity we didn't compete in my Vit as she is now tho, it's definitely all about clearence and big tyres, ....
even so ..............we still had a great time.
Look forward to seeing u guys there

Yeah thanks Celia i did realise that in the past there was no spectating on the Night Stage but going by the above quote that i got from the TTC site it appears that we will be allowed to watch this year which i think is great as you never get the same view on the video.
Will defianatly see you down there. Im not competing but will be there heckling the competitors again this year. You think i was heckling Pete at BOTC wait till im only a spectator
RUFF wrote:Hey Det just noticed this on the TTC site-
This will be a spectators' feast of 4wd action in the day and night stages. You will see every vehicle on every track. Most will not finish.
So does this meen spectators will be able to watch the night stage this time?
Thanks for identifying this mistake. Our Clerk of Course (James Martin) and the Event Director (Ron Wilson) say otherwise. The statement has now been corrected on the web site to:
This will be a spectators' feast of 4wd action in the day and night stages. Except for the Mystery Night Stage, you will see every vehicle on every track. Most will not finish.

After each fortnightly working bee on the Tuff Truck site, one of the courses will be featured in the TTC05 Preparations photo album. The first was the AllTerrain stage, for which the stage managers are Mark Santoro and Darren Watt. The second feature is the Frame Twister, stage managed by Glenn Philpot.
