Hi,
For starters which series Disco? Series 1 have smaller wheel arches than series 2. I believe you can get 32's on an S2 with just a 2" susp. lift.
On an S1 you'll need to do some trimming and suspension or body lift for 33's.
As for the axles, i'm not sure but don't think it is a big job. I've had the axles out on my S1 before and it wasn't too tuff. Not sure if there are mods to swap them to MD's though.

I have prices at home and am going on memeory, so I might be a bit off.
Reckon a 2" suspension lift would come close to making almost enough room. If not, a little folding/cutting may be in order.

For a S1 Disco, 2 inch suspension and body lift are required to make it all fit without rubbing. I have seen Discos with cut guards and only a 2 inch body lift fitted with 33's with a certain amount of rubbing
Maxi Drives, about $2.5K fitted for rear (full locking setup), knock about $7600 off for just an open HD unit which canm be upgradfed later if you wish. Front is costly if you use there CV's, getting cheaper imported 110 CV's are around the $200 mark eack IICR. There not cheap, but worth every cent and takes the issue of breakage out of the equasion.

i know someone selling disc to disc for a rangie it has salisbury rear has everything u need unbreakable stuff.

I run 33 BFG's on my 94 Disco. Needed a 30mm body lift and flairs. This is the minimum I needed to go without lowering the bump stops to stop rubbing, they do rub at full articulation, just.
The maxi's are the easy bit, but I set them up in flat bottomed Rangie diff's & swapped the complete diffs over on a weekend, with some excelent help from a couple of mates.

best way to fit larger tyres on disco is to flare them and body lift along with suspension lift...
also get offset rims which will give it more stability as well.
most people use standard steel rims and get them reversed

Tell me about it. The air locker I went through 3 sets odf axles in 6 months
I have had my rear maxi for 6 years and haven't had any issues whatsoever, just reguar oil changes. Just had one fitted up front, now keen to use it
Anyhting will break if you do give it heaps, some stuff just breaks easier than others that's all.
