Post by The Big Green Meany »

Would anyone know what voltage the following sensors are to run at in a 92 Injected GQ :?:

1. Coolant Temp Unit
2 . TPS , Throttle Postion sensor

For the Computer to read correct these send out a certain Voltage, Would anyone know what these are.

Guys I found this, Hope it helps if anyone has a problem

1. Engine temperature sensor ( the one in the thermostat housing )
Engine Cold - 20 degrees C: 2100 - 2900 ohms
Warming Up - 50 degrees C: 680 - 1000 ohms
Normal operating temperature - 80 degrees C: 300 - 330 ohms

2. throttle position sensor
Throttle closed - 1000 ohms
Throttle open - 9000 ohms

Also a few others:

Exhaust Gas temperature resistance
At 100 degrees C : 77 - 94 ohms

EGR ( exhaust gas recirculation ) temperature sensor resistance
44.4 degrees C : 69 - 89 K-ohms
100 degrees C : 11 - 15 K-ohms
150 degrees C : 2 - 4 K-ohms

Air Flow sensor voltages
engine stopped, ignition On 0.5 volts or less
Idling,warm 1.0 - 1.3 volts approx

AAC ( auxillary air control ) valve approx 10 ohms

Air regulator 70-80 ohms

Fuel Injector resistance 10-14 ohms

Fuel Pump resistance 0.5 ohms approx
