Alrighty...found out why clutch had been playing up...when I 'remoulded' the metal line I accidently njicked it and had small leak occuring.
So I got a new line made up and also replaced the slave cylinder at the sametime.
Now when I depress the clutch pedal I notice it is fairly soft---but not that soft. So I had my brother depress the pedal while I was watching the clutch and once he had depressed it I noticed that it slowly slid back in.
I know it has to be leaking somewhere but no signs of a leak and no fluid missing from reservoir. Or maybe I need the slave cylinder rebored?? For more fluid
Master cylinder was replaced maybe 10mths ago
So my car is Hilux, with 4.3 Chev running toyota slave cylinder (same as what was on there).
Thanks

But I have bled it twice now....and used almost a bottle of brake fluid and unless the bubbles are hiding else where I got no clue.
Will keep soldiering on then....
Thanks guys

It still sounds like the master. Fluid leaking past the first seal and back into the reservoir?
I had mine rebuilt and sleeved with stainless. Cost $120 and will last longer than OEM.
