Gas on a Disco 4.0

Post by Casey_leonard »

Hi All
Am considering putting gas on to my Disco 4.0 V8i and am wondering where the tank(s) will go. I was thinking that maybe I could put a false floor in the cargo area and put an array of tanks (cylinders) there.
Also can I run on gas full time and what power drop can I expect.
Cheers

Ditto, same here. same place.
range with scubas about 350 -380 kms and 200kms with petrol 1/2 tank.
You don't lose any cargo room. But sacrifice range.

On my 3.9 S1 I have three scuba tanks in the rear cargo area.

However I have found they only hold 55L of usuable gas, and am ditching them for 1 or 2 large tanks to get it up to 80-90 usuable.

However, only now am I realising how small S1 cargo areas are :bad-words:

Espically when I want to add cargo draws!
