Wheel spacers
Wheel spacers
Im going to make some wheel spacers just wondering how wide you's recon i should make them my zook is a 92 so its a wt and has 5"lift, 31"x10.5" tyres on 15x7 roh rims, tyres are about 5mm past guards now i was thinking 3" spacers do yous think this will effect my turning circle to much is so would i be better off going 2"spacers .
And wheel bearings.
I would go 2" max.
Cut and flipped rims may be better but at least with spacers you can just remove them if the law doesnt like em.
If you have modified rims and the law takes a disliking to them you need to get new rims and have your tyres swapped.

This is true but a 15X7 modded to 2.5 inch BS is hardly noticed.
Its only when you flip and reweld for "Maximum" ofset it looks blatently obvious.

Is it really a wise move making DIY wheel spacers, I know the ones you buy do not appear to be easily coppied.
Just my 2 cents (especially when rim flipping is $40 per rim prof. done)

I can make them easy enough and it dosnt cost me anything to flip rims so im just going to make the spacers and if i have problems with them then ill think about fliping my rims. I was going to make the spacers with factory wheel studs/nuts so as long as all the nuts are tight i cant see a problem with them.

Usually most "Wheel works" type business, any place that repairs rims will be able to do it.
Realistically you could pop the centres out yourself (just unpick the welds) and get the re welded
