I am intrested in importing two
I live in Israel
and here the 4x4 workshops are not familier with this modification
From what I've understood
Your workshops take a regular shock (like rancho) and weld a bracket for the coil spring on it ???
what are the dimensions? location of the bracket from the lower end??
I have another question -
If I disasseble the standard front shock - the bracket is also welded to the shock??

Ive had the same problem.
Suziwest does a kit of ranchos that will bolt in: http://www.suziwest.com.au (they used to anyway)
Maybe email them and try to get some info.

If you take the old shocks out the bracket just fits over the shock, its not welded.
Good luck anyway, I just bought some standard length KYB's in the end because the Ranchos cost way to much after the welding process.

there located at minto nsw (south) of sydney
ull see there ads in zoom mags/drift mags etc
also make the adjustable panhard rods
from 30mm solid spring steel for the GQ/GU patrols & landcrusers
etc

ok..
you can use any shock you want.the spring collar just slides off the std shock,it is not welded.
all you do is machine the centre out of the collar to suit the shock of choice.
depending on shock.(thick wall,single wall) you can just weld it strait on or make a tapered tube that comes up from the bottom and sits under the spring seats.any exhaust shop can do this.
the only thing to look out for if using a bigger diameter shock is that on travel the spring will rub on the shock.this will take the paint off...
