what springs do i use need help

Post by mrhigh »

hello fellow toyota hilux owners , my brother has gone over seas and left me with his hilux which we have been thrashing 4 the past 5 years and it is still going strong . he is a builder and didnt want to do to many mods so we did a 3inch body lift 2inch spring lift rancho shocks all round and 33inch mudddies . now that he is gone 4 the next 2 years i thought i would put my own touch to it but dont want 2 spend to much money or go over board but would like some more flex . for the front i was thinking shock hoops and some longer shocks cause it dosent flex that bad but would like a bit more i tried to put 150mm shackles but wouldnt work . for the back i was thinking moving the shocks to the a frame shape and getting longer ones is well . ive heard alot about those ifs leafs but wasnt shore what they where , i was thinking that they where the back ones of a new model hilux if so are they the standard ones and what year model r they from , also was thinking off putting 200mm longer shakles . my mate is pretty good with the welder so thats no problem . please help me cause my back is killing me and cant handle those hard spring
