Dead Zook

Post by skjtb »

thats right my mrs killed her zook, it asked for oil and she didn't feed it.
so its time to upgrade the little 1L for something decent. just wondering what motors you have seen fitted and what your thoughts are on them. want something that comes with a 5 speed, possibly that has a fuel injected option as I will probably do the same conversion on my zook soon after. I thought about a Gemini 1600, but they are too long and wont fit without heaps of f#cking around,
thanks in advance for you help.

would like to keep it a zook, but I can't afford the efi vitara motor ATM, and I'm not a big toyota fan so I'll keep looking for something different.

I don't think we have anything against toyotas... we just don't want to be associated with toyota owners like yourself :finger:

i am sorry that you suzuki drivers are so narrow minded against an entire make of vehicles just because of the owners. Oh well, I beleive that a toyota suzuki combination can be a winner, but it seems that cause arrogant people like myself drive toyotas, that this shouldnt be done

The other thing with staying Zuk is the fly weight idea ..
The all alloy 1.3 is actually margianlly lighter than the iron blocked 1 litre motor.

thanks for your input guys. I have bought a recently recond 1L. I will be staying with the 1L so I can get it on the road asap. it will be running again by Saturday night. I will save up for something a bit better for when it comes time to do my car.
