can someone confirm the compatibiltiy of a diesel 82 diff center to fit a 85 petrol housing? i am 95% sure that they will fit but i dont want to buy without being 100%. cheers

Most questions here are about crusier/lux matches and cross crusier matches.

If you are asking about just year models of luxs I think you will find they fit. Yota's are an easy guess. If the bonnet looks the same yup it will

hilux to hilux sorry. they should both be g series diffs which are the 8". only problem may be axle spline count or something along those lines? anyone done this hilux 82-hilux 85 center swap before?

They will defianatly fit. You will need to change the pinion flange as the bolt pattern for the tailshaft may be different.
