Go the Mickey T's..

A nate has a set of 35" Claws on his 80 Series an he uses it as his work truck...

He's very happy with them..

how many kms would he get out of them

i'm wanting to go claws as a everyday tyre when my mtrs go down

Not sure yet hes done probably 5000k's so far and they are still ike new..

He had MTR's previous and he reckons these are twice the tyre..

Ok going from A/T's to Muddies would give you less wear time, but is there that much diff???
Is there much diff in wear time between the Claws and the Muddies also please.

Generally speaking, you are able to get a similar mileage from muddies as AT's. The main reason people get lesser kms out of muddies is because of their application. As muddies will take you further offroad, can do more traction wise and are daily drivers for people who play off the beaten track regularly, you usually do get slightly more rapid wear. The more offroad you do, the greater the wear rate.
Because The Claw are one step up again on muddies (IMO) and are much more capable of going further and doing harsher tracks, it's the more avid 4wdrivers that purchase them (meaning much more abuse offroad...and thats where all the fun is!!! :D )
I usually find that they get around the same or marginally less kms than other muddies.... however this is greatly outweighed by their offroad strength and greater traction.
Hope this helps,
Ryano
