leaf springs offset

Post by buger »

I have an idea, maybe is stupid, but I will ask!

It is possible to drill a new hole, for the bolt in the center of the front leaf spring, of a MK to make it more offset for better aproach angle? :?:

Have anybody think of that before?

It is possible but it will effect the castor angle . The other thing you could do is drill a new hole in your spring perches on the diff, you could gain 35mm there, They do that to hiluxes. Dont forget to extend your tailshaft either.
