Bundera Suspension Options
Had my bundera for a while now and have decided I want to get a little more serious into 4wdriving, Have done a bit of research already in the suspension and the most lift I have been able to source without going "custom" is 2 inch from OME, tough dog and rancho both do a 40mm lift my question is, is there any other suspension systems that will give me more lift about 3 to 4 inch and adjustable? If you have any info would greatly appreciated I am from sydney.

I also done a lot of research for my Bundy when I was looking for a suspension lift. I found that all of the off the shelf kits do give you abit of lift and abit more travel, but they do it using stiffer springs. The Bundy does handle better, but it rides much harsher. I also know a guy that fitted standard 80 series springs to his Bundy. Got the lift that you are after, and fantastic articulation. 40 mm lift on a Bundy will easily run 33in/34in rubber without rubbing, as I run JT1 simex's without problems. I'm considering replacing my springs with a custom set, which in my opinion would be your best option, as you can specify your own ridehight, handling and articulation. In my case I'm happy with everything but would like more articulation.
have also hit the same problem when building up my beast, considered going for the 80 series springs but an 80 series is alot heavier than a bundy and therefore the springs would be alot stiffer also i cant see it increasing articulation because the axles wouldn't drop much further than at ride height and would probobly throw it over before hitting the bump stops. so im heading towards going for the lightest duty 2" lift i can get matched with the longest shockes they will allow and if i need more lift for tires i will go with body lift, keeping the chassis weight lower. please argue with me if u think im wrong, also i got some nice reversed sunnies to try get the track wide
Marks 4wd adaptors used to do a 3" kit for the bundy including rancho shocks and rear shock mounts four under 2 grand, but now they just say give pro comp a ring

I agree with the flipped rim option. I will go wide before up! Probably go with spacers (yeah I know people dont like them, but it is my 2nd car so it doesnt worry me if they a) break stuff, or b) illegal!)
As for the Marks suspension packaged, I would say that you could do it way cheaper then they offered it! Ranchos $800ish for 9000series, Springs maybe $500ish! Carton of the finest ale (or what ever you prefer) and get into it!

Bundy springs
I have tried the 80 series spring option and it is too high, it will give u at least 6"-8" lift from standard. (if u do want to go this high try to find original 80 series springs as they r softer than aftermarket)
I have found that 78 series front springs will give about 4" and r not too stiff.
35's will fit on a standard Bundy unless u offset the rims and then u need mod the front guards a little (hammer).
use 80 series shockers for more travel........ except the right hand rear....

that's rot! stocker 80 series front springs lift a bundera about 3.5 - 4", which is about as high as you can go on a bundera. 2" lift heavy duty 80 series coils might be closer to to 6 - 8". 80 series springs are actually slightly softer than bundera coils - more turns and larger coil diameter more than cancels out the larger wire diameter. You can improve articulation by manipulating the control arm bushings at the chassis end, and to some extent at the axle end. obviously ditch the sway bar if fitted. Ranchos are less than ideal for any coil spring application, they are valved for leaf springapplications and do not have have sufficient damping for coils. the leading/trailing arm setup does not give good articulation and the 22R and 2L-T are underpowered even in stock trim, 33's are ok. I ran 35's and struggled for power all the time. you can fit the marks gears to the transfer case but the improvement is marginal for the $$$.
do a search for bundera+suspension and you should turn up some of my old posts on the subject.

i ran 35's 2 inch body lift and king lifted coils for a while, coils where stiffer like someone said. the lift i got through tyres and coils was ample, and handled good, had gu standard shocks in the front
i put a dobinson bush kit in and that improved suspenion travel heaps!!
i also heard someone was making slotted bushes for nissans which would fit cause trailing arm bushes are same as nissan gq....anyone know anything??? only running 31's now cause 3 clutches, 2 diffs,1 motor, tail shaft things, gbox on last legs ,and tyres hit in side rear guards which stop u...... putting in landcruiser gearbox 350 chev and 60 series diffs,
