Fellas, I need some opinions.
I can no longer make excuses. I can no longer blame sloppy technique. I can no longer ignore the fact that my clutch is slipping. (124,000km old, only half of it mine - is that pretty bad?)
I've searched here and on the Pajero Club Forum, and as far as I can tell, there is no adjustment available (other than pedal position, which has plenty of free-play, and takes up/disengages not far from the top of travel. )
I'm trying to convince myself that a good bleed might fix the problem, but I would expect air in the system to hinder disengagement, not cause slippage?
Am I wasting my time doing anything other than book it in for a replacement clutch? (I'm too lazy to attempt it myself...)
When I book it in, what brand of clutch kit should I ask for? One thread suggested a Daikin (an airconditioned clutch? ) While it's out, should I get the box overhauled in an attempt to improve my 2-3/3-2 shift issues?
What are your thoughts and/or experiences?

Slipping Clutch

well my clutch only lasted about 85,000km. the rear crank seal went and had oil dripping everyware!
had a daiken one put in that was 30% stronger. clutch still engages right at the top of the pedal travel though ??
if you can afford the box rebuild-go for it !

I would have them do the rear main seal as well. It's a 10USD part that takes literally five minutes to change, but can only be done with the tranny off. Here in the US it's typically done at the 120k miles service point. But as long as you are in there...
