WA comps and events?

Post by bundyboy »

I am living in the Pilbara now and want to know is there anything around at all.

There is a 4wd Club in town here and i would like to see whether the guys here are keen to start something up. Most guys in the town are happy to spend money for a bit of entertainment so i dont see why 4wd comps wouldnt be successful.

Dude you finally made the move!!!

Hope your enjoying it!

Well all I can say about comps is that their is supposed to be four this year...but you live to far away to warrant going to them.

But if you do start a comp would be great and really help the sport in WA. I might even talk mates into taking the buggy's along.

Don't forget about the Navrun 20th/21st August near Bunbury (WA). This comp. is designed to suit all vehicles, from stock standard to modified. Experienced and inexperienced drivers. Even bring the family.

First time it will be run in WA. We are coming all the way from Melbourne to organise and set up.

The gasdash is a hard run. My mates have done it 2yrs in a row. going back this year bigger and better. I may be up there this year depending if we get the rig finished or not.

Getting harder and longer every year.

cheers

Yeah rock event for registered rigs.....you never know they might even limit tire size to 36's to give you a chance.........(like you don't already have a good chance against big black shiny patrols)!

guys i would love to get an event going in the area. The terrain is absolutely awesome and would eat up some of the places on the east coast.

All we need to do is get those east guys to be willing to come over and compete. I am keen as mustard to build something so maybe if i go over to the east to compete a couple of times i may convince them to come over here.

Look at the US, their comps are in the desert!

But it is a very long way for everyone to travel. even for us perth guys! But don't be put off start builting and everyone else should follow.
