Anyone in Aus, make aluminium wheels and beadlocks to spec

Post by Roctoy »

I'm after a set of wheels and would like to get some 17" x 11 aluminium wheels with aluminium beadlocks made to suit 6 stud hilux, with a decent offset.
if i buy a set of bling bling mags, can i get them modified to take beadlocks? This might be cheaper?

There are plenty of 17" x 10 wide mags out there, is it true that when you modify a wheel by fitting beadlocks they get a little wider? If this is the case i may only need 17"x 10"s.
i'm looking at buying a set if 37x14x17 IROKs and they specify 17" x 11" wheels to run em.

This is for the buggy so RTA etc rules need not apply.

Ifg you can find someone to spin up the rings i know a guy that can Tig weld them on for you. Actually at the moment he prob cant but within a few weeks he should be confident enough with a tig welder.

Its funny because his name is Chris just like yours :D :D

You don't even need to get them machined, you can get them laser cut the same as the steel ones!

I have a contact for twin bead mechanical rims that come in a variety of crazy patterns...steel though, but any color.
