i am making a low profile crossmember for my hilux and just wanted to know how far the transfer/gearbox can be lifted without raising the engine mounts.

I have lifted mine 5 inches and havent touched the engine mounts :lol:

i have lifted mine mmmm dunno how far, but it is 40mm below the chassis. I didnt lift my engine but i did fit the mounts upside down and this lifted the engine an inch.

not sure, have a look at the mount and if it looks the same upside down, bar the fact that the bolts are upside down then yes it will work.
