power steering question

Post by toyotroop »

I have an hj 47 made in 84 and have been told that it is one of the last built in this body style and has front disk brakes... heres the question, would it have come out with power steering as standard? cos if so the po must of taken it off before selling the troopy to me :x

It might have been optional. The best thing to do would be to convert it to 60 series power steering. I'm gonna get it done on my hj 45 in a few weeks.

The poor old 47 never had power steer as the 2H pump mounts directly inline with the bottom outlet of the radiator
The BJ&FJ got the optional p/steer.
Did you get factory A/C.
I'm not stuck I'm over here!
Watch where you driven!!!
